記者: Have you heard about the earthquake in CHINA? 你是否聽到了關(guān)于中國(guó)地震的消息？

　　莎朗斯通: Of Course I have. 我當(dāng)然聽到了

　　記者：How you feel about it? 你心中作何感想？

　　莎朗斯通：You know it’s very interesting because you know at first I am unhappy about the way that the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I think anyone shouldn’t be unkind to anyone else. So I have been very concerned about to how to… things and what to do about that. Because I dont like THAT. And I have been concerned about.. oh… how should we deal with the Olympics because they haven’t been nice to the Dalai Lama, who is a good friend of mine.. and the earthquake… and all the stuff happened… I think … is that KARMA? when you’re not nice that the bad things happen. And I got a letter from the Tibetan Foundation, they want to go and to be helpful. And that made me CRY. and they asked me if I want to write a quote about that.. and I said I would (for) that is a big lesson to me that sometimes you have to learn to put your head down to be at service to people who aren’t nice to you. And that is a BIG lesson to me.

　　(大意：你知道，這個(gè)(指地震)太有意思了，因?yàn)槲液懿粷M意中國(guó)人對(duì)待藏人的方式，我認(rèn)為人人都應(yīng)該其他人友善。我就開始想如何……做點(diǎn)什么，因?yàn)槲液懿幌矚g那樣(指“對(duì)藏人的方式”)。另外，我也很關(guān)注如何對(duì)付奧運(yùn)會(huì)，因?yàn)橹袊?guó)人一直對(duì)達(dá)賴?yán)�嘛不友好，而達(dá)賴?yán)�嘛是我的好朋友，這次地震所有這些發(fā)生的事兒，我不禁問(wèn)，這是“報(bào)應(yīng)”么？當(dāng)你不積德就會(huì)有的報(bào)應(yīng)。之后，我受到西藏基金會(huì)的一封信，他們說(shuō)他們將要前往震區(qū)提供幫助，這把我感動(dòng)哭了。西藏基金會(huì)問(wèn)我是不是要發(fā)表一個(gè)聲明支持他們，我說(shuō)我絕對(duì)會(huì)的，因?yàn)檫@對(duì)我來(lái)說(shuō)是很深刻的一課，當(dāng)別人待你不善的時(shí)候，你也要低下頭對(duì)他們提供幫助。這真的是很深刻的道理。)
